About the game:

This game is for people that just want to play a game of chess.
or for people that want to play a friend but have no chess board around.
alternatively you can train here, and not hurt your online ELO score.
I'm planning to release on steam next year (2025), which will also allow you to play hotseat online. (so sort of online multiplayer).
it uses an unmodified stockfish AI, as opponent.
the goal of the project is to combine Arcade style, with chess.

*Colours:
-you can change almost every color, the pieces, the playboard, the interface, the text, the mouse, the selector......

*Hotseat (requires a human opponent) or free play, play against yourself..
-play in turns against a friend.
-or play against yourself. (free play)

*Random start chess:
-Stockfish plays the first few moves, on the difficulty you set it on.
After that you take over.
(goal of this feature, is to have a random opening every time, and train with that.)

*Thinking simulator:
-makes Ai have a simulated thinking time, so it can be beaten on a timer.
else a human has no chance against AI when playing with timers.

*FULL CHESS:
-promotions, castling, an-passant , play as black, play as white.
timers....official game over ,and move rules.

*Scoreboard/coins:
-every captured piece scores you points, for the leaderboards.
(higher pieces give more then pawns)
-alternatively coins will spawn on the board, those can give extra coins.
there also there to seduce you to take a different strategy.

*A survival Mode:
-the player has 3 hearts...the Ai has unlimited...how long can you survive?
-In Hotseat mode both players have 3 hearts... so you can play a best of 6 rounds match.

*Some Accessibility features:
-everything can be played with left, and right mouse buttons.
(except for typing in names, or cheats.),but you can use the default name if you want 
-High contrast, cause you can setup almost all color's , you can setup a high contrast one.
-difficulty slider ( you do not have to be a pro in chess)
-if you click a piece it shows all legal moves
-hint button...
